**Steely Dead — A Sonic Fusion of the Grateful Dead and Steely Dan**

**Sunday, January 31, 2027 | Sanctuary Cultural Arts Center**

What happens when Steely Dan’s intricate arrangements meet the Grateful Dead’s freewheeling improvisation? **Steely Dead** brings those two musical worlds together for a groove-filled evening at Sanctuary.

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, this nationally touring quartet blends the precision and sophistication of Steely Dan with the melodic exploration and seamless song transitions that make the Grateful Dead’s music an enduring adventure. Songs weave into one another, familiar melodies take unexpected turns, and inventive jams reveal connections between two extraordinary catalogues.

Featuring **Dave Abear on guitar, Matt Abear on bass, Chris Sheldon on drums, and Dylan Teifer on keyboards**, Steely Dead delivers soulful interpretations with a sound and spirit all its own.

Whether you’re a devoted Deadhead, a discerning Dan fan, or simply someone who loves exceptional musicianship and a danceable groove, this is your invitation to gather with friends and follow the music wherever it leads.

**Join us at Sanctuary on January 31 for a Sunday full of musical discovery, shared energy, and room to dance.**
