They're coming back with a bang and ready to relive their hit album, "Almost Here"! The Academy Is... is an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2003, soon becoming a defining voice in the pop-punk and alternative rock scene, known for their sharp lyricism and anthemic hooks.

Between 2003 and 2011, the Academy Is… released 3 albums full of their unique and diverse brand of Emotional Rock n’ Roll that captured the hearts of adoring fans all around the globe, from Shanghai to Sheboygan. The Academy Is… released their breakthrough debut back in 2005, Almost Here peaked at No. 7 on Top Heatseekers, No. 16 on Independent Albums, and No. 185 on The Billboard 200. The band has grown up, built families, and lived full lives, but The Academy Is… never forgot who they were, and after the long stillness of the pandemic years, making the band a priority again began to feel not just possible but necessary.
