The Parade of Dreams

The Parade of Dreams follows Ada and Gabriel, a couple fractured by tragedy, and the desperate bargain they strike with Rastin—a charismatic carnival performer with the power to speak to the dead. Imbued with dark humor, the story asks: who can we trust when the world takes an unsettling interest in our suffering? It is a moving journey of communion, loss, and the difficult work of reconciling with the world that is left behind. This presentation features the world premier of the first act.

Kyle Winslow Smith is a performer and composer whose career spans the vibrant music scenes of New Orleans and Boston. A former baritone with Chorus Pro Musica, he has performed alongside Andrea Bocelli at the TD Garden. Currently, Kyle serves as a Musical Director for Improv Asylum, where he performs with the Main Stage cast and teaches musical improvisation. The Parade of Dreams is his debut musical.
