UNSANE
Unsane is an influential American noise rock trio formed in NYC in 1988, blending hardcore punk, metal, and industrial noise. Known for intense, urban-themed lyrics and gritty, violent imagery, they became pioneers of the 1990s noise-metal scene. Led by guitarist/vocalist Chris Spencer, the band has released numerous albums on labels like Matador, Relapse, Ipecac, and Southern Lord.
