Join us for a classic summer night in Richmond with 5-piece jam band, Wax Monkey, composed of childhood friends hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. The members first started jamming together in high school before officially forming the band in 2023 while attending the University of Alabama. Rooted in the spirit of musical exploration, Wax Monkey draws inspiration from legends such as The Grateful Dead, Phish, and The Allman Brothers Band—blending aspects of Southern rock, psychedelic rock, and improvisational jams.

Joining them on stage with twangy vocals, tasteful guitar licks, and sweet lap steel swells, is The Sugar Hollows--“some kind of rock band” from Richmond, Virginia. This group has been shaped by years on the road and releases including 2024’s Radio Waves, and has built a sound rooted in movement, reflection, and forward momentum. Following a strong run of festival performances throughout 2025, The Sugar Hollows continue to grow their sound and name across the region and beyond.
