Jams, grooves and good vibes. Wax Monkey and Ferris take over The Studio at Inn Cahoots

Birmingham, Alabama's Wax Monkey plays The Studio at Inn Cahoots on Thursday, October 29, with Ferris opening. Doors 7 PM, show 8 PM. 18+.

About Wax Monkey

Five friends who started jamming together in high school and formed the band in 2023 at the University of Alabama: Wilder Hines (lead guitar), Henry Cardwell (rhythm, lead vocals), Hudson Murrell (keys), Jones Beavers (bass) and Harrison Wood (drums). Their live sets move between spacey psychedelic jams, hard-hitting rock 'n' roll, groove-heavy disco and soulful reggae, and no two nights sound the same. Their debut album, Encompass, is out now.

Opening: Ferris

Austin's own Ferris kicks things off with original indie rock that stretches out into psychedelic, funky improvisation. Get there early.

The Studio at Inn Cahoots

The Studio is Inn Cahoots' intimate 150-capacity room, so tickets are limited. 1209 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702.
