Yasmin is a British-Iranian DJ, producer, and vocalist known for her soulful, groove-led approach to dance music. Her sets move effortlessly through house, disco, boogie, and modern soul, crafted with deep musicality and a selector’s instinct that’s earned her a place on some of the world’s most respected stages.
Her journey began with a love for ’90s hip-hop and a curiosity about the samples behind it, which led her into the rich world of crate-digging for soul, funk and disco music. Today, that passion fuels a global sound rooted in rhythm, and connection. She’s shared line-ups with artists like Masters at Work, Moodymann, DJ Harvey, and Natasha Diggs, acts whose ethos and energy align naturally with her own.
Following a standout run across the Americas from sunrise sets at Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, to packed underground shows in musical mecca such as NYC, Medellin and Mexico City, Yasmin is now in the middle of her 2025 European summer tour, with appearances across Spain, Croatia, and Italy as well as returning for her second residency at Hï, Ibiza.
Beyond the booth, Yasmin’s presence on the airwaves is equally respected. She holds monthly residencies on Rinse FM and Radio Alhara, moving between deeper club-focused sets to more eclectic downtempo sessions that showcase her expansive musical taste. Yasmin also hosts the Glitterbox Radio Show that is syndicated across 23 countries worldwide reaching 10 million people around the globe. Online, Yasmin has also performed for well loved channels such as My Analog Journal and Aprtment Life, where her set is one of the highest viewed across the platform.
As a producer, Yasmin’s recent release, Real High on Razor-N-Tape’s Family Affair compilation, further cemented her status as a multidimensional artist. Combining shimmering post-disco production with her own soulful vocals, it’s a track that nods to icons like Asha Puthli and Dam-Funk while sounding entirely her own. Pressed to vinyl and embraced by collectors and DJs alike, it marks just the beginning of what’s next.
Yasmin isn’t chasing trends, she’s building something lasting. With her deep musical knowledge, commanding presence, and growing global following, she’s become one of the most authentic and exciting voices in dance music today.
