FAMILY FUN-RAISER: Raising Rental Assistance Money for Families In Need

The purpose of this evening is to be in community while we raise money for our community. All of the proceeds and donations will go to our neighbors sheltering in place for March rent working with Community Kitchen volunteers. The Family FUN-raiser will bring local artists, raffle, nourishing food, and groovy dance moves for a night of being together and keeping our community strong.

Obi Original & The Black Atlantics

Are a Minneapolis-based music collective Founded in 2014. Uniquely morphing the styles Of Afrobeat, Rock, Funk, and Highlife to create Their self-coined “Django” sound, they are led By multi-instrumentalist Obiora Obikwelu (Obi Original)

We are so grateful to the Hook and Ladder team for so generously offering the opportunity to use their space for this special evening. Thanks to their generosity, 90% of the ticket price will go towards rent funds. The other 10% goes to Hook and Ladder employees. Tickets are $25 ($30 at the door) and our fundraising goal is $10,000.
